When she was in the middle the high school year, Sasha was a transsexual and came out to the world as such. Sasha had a difficult time and was unsure if by the support of his music and friends Sasha would be able take it on. Jim and Sasha - both songwriters - were just recently forming the official duo of music. Since then, they have appeared at numerous local venues, including open mics. The Voice's coaches avoided talking about Sasha's past, however Jim shared his life story with an introduction clip prior to the show. Sasha first started playing guitar when she was just six years old. The pair talked about their musical tastes and shared stories about their first encounter. The fact that his father was a music teacher made it easier for Sasha to become proficient in the art. Sasha was born a female and struggled with his identity when he was a kid. In an Instagram post she shared her struggles. Jim was overwhelmed with emotion when he explained why he could not be in these difficult times. Sasha Allen is a contestant on The Voice. She was born as a girl. Sasha Allen will be 19 years old in 2021. At the time Sasha was in freshman high school, he made the decision to come out to be transgender, and then began the transition to male. Sasha posted in Instagram the fact that he is third trans person who had been on the show. Sasha said that he was at peace and proud to represent all trans people.
