Kellie Martin is an American actor and director of films, is best known as Christy Huddleston on the period drama 'Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the drama about families Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. Also, she is known for playing the title role in the "Hailey Dean Mystery" series. Martin's acting journey began at the age of seven when her aunt, the former nanny who took care for the children of Michael Landon, helped secure the role of a character in the 1982 film 'Father Murphy.' Martin began her professional acting career after graduating Yale University. This led to her landing substantial parts in both the television as well as the film industry. Martin is a professional actor, in addition to a gifted photographer and dancer has been in the business for more than twenty years. Being a mom to two kids, she's become the official spokesperson of national for Lupus. She has also actively promoted Lupus since the time her sister's death due to the disease at 19.
