Sadie Amara Calvano is an actress from America who gained attention by playing Violet Plunkett in the CBS sitcom 'Mom'. Calvano has a family in California, and initially was fascinated by in competitive gymnastics. She later chose to make a move as an actor. The first time she appeared on screen was in 2010, in the CBS show 'NCIS. The biographical crime movie J Edgar was her big screen debut a year after. Through the course of time she's been recognized to be one of the best young actresses in the current industry. For her performance in 'NCIS', she received a nomination for the Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series - Guest Starring Young Actress 11-15 in 2011. In 2013, she was nominated once again for a Young Artist Award. This was for her performance on Disney XD's 'Kickin The 'It'. Calvano appeared in a number series of the show "Mom" during its 4th season. She was the primary role in the initial three seasons of the series. Her performance in the show earned her the Gracie Allen Award for Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star in 2015.
