Sadie Amara Calvano hails from America and is known as the actress who played Violet Plunkett, in CBS the sitcom Mom. Calvano, a Californian native, was originally interested in competitive gymnastics. In the end, however, Calvano determined to pursue an acting career. She debuted on the screen in 2010 in the CBS show 'NCIS. In the crime drama biographical movie J Edgar, she made her first appearance on the big screen a couple of months after. In the past, she's established herself as one of the most promising actors in today's industry. In recognition of her role in the show 'NCIS', she was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series - Guest Starring Young Actress 11-15 in 2011. The year 2013 saw Calvano nominated once again for a Young Artist Award. This is for her role on the Disney XD show 'Kickin The 'It'. Calvano was one of the principal cast members of 'Mom' in its first three seasons and was a frequent guest on the final season. Her outing in 'Mom' earned her an award called the Gracie Allen Award for Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star in 2015.
