Sadie Amara Calvano hails from America and is best known as the actress who played Violet Plunkett, in CBS the sitcom Mom. Calvano grew up in California she was initially interested in competitive gymnastics. She later chose to become an actress. Her screen debut was in the 2010 episode of CBS's 'NCIS'. In the biographical crime-drama movie J Edgar, she made her debut on the big screen just a few months later. Over the next few seasons, she was able to establish herself as one of the most prestigious actors of today's young. The performance she gave on 'NCIS' was nominated by the Young Artist Award 2011 for Best Performance in a Television Series that features the appearance of a guest Actress aged between 11 and 15 years old. In 2013, in recognition of an appearance in Disney XD's "Kickin' it Comedy Series and received a second nomination for the Young Artist Award. Calvano was part of the main cast of the show's initial three seasons, and also was a frequent guest on the final season. Her performance in the show earned her the Gracie Allen Award for Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star in the year 2015.
